The team of editors, which includes Ph.D. students and independent scholars, stretches from LA to Brooklyn, and we're committed to a no-brow approach. Peggy Lee (PL), who claims no hometown due to her erratic moving history, but admits being touched deeply by the lagging grunge scene she experienced in St. Louis and later, the hip hop circuits of LA & the Bay Area, loves how questions about her childhood begin with "military brat or foster care?" Neither. She graduated 2010 with a M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University and currently resides in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She flexes her hustle muscle everywhere she goes. Madison Moore (MDSN), a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at Yale. Works on fashion, models, popular music, modern and contemporary art, and nightlife culture. MDSN's a New Yorker who has lived in Hawaii, St. Louis and France, but who felt more at home in France than in the US, mostly because he could roll down any Parisian street in a head-to-toe sequin catsuit and nobody would flinch. Madison owes his love of glamour to Delores Moore, a fabulous grandmother who always kept sequins in her closet no matter what. Sequined Hipster.

Inna Arzumanova (Inna), who can't help being drawn to everything gilded and decadent, loves fictions and words with fancy footwork. A product of Soviet sensibilities, San Francisco malls, the soundtracks of public transportation and immigrant family parties, she secretly loves being asked whether she knows the Kardashians. Living in LA, Inna is a PhD student in Communications at USC, who works on masks, race and pop culture.  Gilded Wonderer.
